Statues of Buddha are scattered all over the place, every household having a spirit house, paying homage to their god and its ancestors. Street foods, night markets and all-day bazaars are found at the heart of the city. It is one of the busiest and most awake parts of the capital filling the streets with hungry travelers and excited shoppers.
This is what we definitely need to keep the excitement pumping. We listed down the activities we wanted to do; elephant riding, having a dinner cruise, water sports (parasailing and diving) and of course, shopping!
Next, budget is very important so as to avoid bankruptcy, especially with your cards. After making some calculations, we have only spent almost $400 for our entire trip including the fare, accommodations and tour (1 baht = 0.032584 U.S. dollars). Not bad after all! After a week of being transported from a different culture and being a part of a different world, surely, the wonderful experience in Thailand will always be remembered.
